THE NORTHERN MARIANAS COLLEGE BOARD APPROVES A 35% INCREASE IN TUITION FEES.

THE TUITION WILL INCREASE FROM 95 DOLLARS PER UNIT TO 128 DOLLARS PER UNIT BEGINNING FALL 2016.

 

THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY REQUESTED A 5% SALARY INCREASE AS PART OF ITS BUDGET SUBMISSION.

THE INCREASE WAS DENIED. COMMISSIONER JAMES DELEON GUERRERO SAYS CNMI LAW ENFORCMENT SALARIES ARE SOME OF THE LOWEST IN THE NATION.
